In The Eyes of Yvonne Carrington

“I will never be able to live life without my daughter. Since losing my precious baby, I have fought for the rights of several gun violence victims and their families. I organized a marching group to honor Carla. I was a community advocate for people whose pain kept them silent. Following my years of dedication, the municipal officials as a way of showing their appreciation for my years of hard work honored me with naming a block in Bennett Homes called “Carla’s Lane” after her.”
